Enemy No. 1 / Last updated 14 October 2026
Privacy Policy
This policy covers Enemy No. 1 and its demo on every platform (Windows, macOS, Android and iOS), however you got it. It adds to the LocalHugDealer Studios Privacy Policy, which covers everything outside the game: emails, the mailing list, playtests, feedback forms and the stores.
- The game has no accounts, no ads and no in-game purchases.
- It never asks for your name, email address or location.
- Gameplay analytics are off unless you say yes, and you can turn them off again at any time.
On your device
The game saves your progress, your settings and a log of your runs in its save folder on your device. It also creates a random ID the first time it starts. The ID is made from random numbers, not from anything about you or your device.
None of this leaves your device unless you agree to analytics (below). Uninstalling the game, or deleting its save folder, removes all of it.
Optional analytics
When you start your second run, the game asks once whether you're happy to share gameplay analytics. The answer is no until you choose yes. You can change it at any time in Settings, under Gameplay, and the change applies straight away.
If you say yes, the game sends gameplay events to GameAnalytics, an analytics service for games, so we can see where the game is too hard, too easy or confusing. The events cover:
- when you play and for how long,
- the weapons, difficulty and settings you choose,
- how far you get, which bosses you beat and what ends your runs,
- in-game currency earned and spent, unlocks and achievements.
Each event carries the random ID from your device, so we can tell one player's sessions apart without knowing who they are. GameAnalytics also records standard technical details: the platform, operating system and version, device model, game version, connection type, and error messages if the game runs into a problem. It uses your IP address to look up your country, and doesn't store the IP address itself.
GameAnalytics is based in Denmark and handles this data for us under its Privacy Policy. Its detailed records are cut back over time, and older data is kept only as totals.
Turning analytics off and deleting data
Turning analytics off in Settings stops the game sending anything further. Uninstalling the game, or deleting its save folder, also resets the random ID, so a fresh install can't be linked to the old one.
Because the ID is random and the game never learns who you are, we have no way to match analytics data to a particular person, so we can't find or delete one player's records on request. If you have questions about this, email support@localhugdealer.com.
Everything else
The studio privacy policy explains your rights, children's privacy, how we handle changes and how to complain to a regulator. All of it applies to this game too. Questions about this policy go to support@localhugdealer.com.
